Adding Mint And Garlic Chives To The Garden

Print Friendly

Our raised garden beds were finished a couple weeks ago and we planted  our little seedlings into the ground. Progress has been slow but I think this has something to do with the extreme Spring weather in Melbourne lately, we’ve  had hailstorms and a heatwave. Last week  it reached 30 degrees!

Some exciting news is that my mum gave us some cuttings from her garden, Garlic Chives and Mint.

After splitting them and croping the tops as per instructions, we planted these yesterday.

Hopefully our Garlic Chives will look as beautiful as the picture at the end from greenharvest.com
