Slow Food Farmers Market Abbotsford Convent

Print Friendly

The Slow Food Farmers Market at the Abbotsford Convent is definitely worth a visit. There are over 60 growers and makers who sell farm fresh and organic seasonal fruit, vegetables, seedlings, herbs, breads, rare breed and free range meat. Some of my favourite stalls are Mount Zero for plump olives and Movida Bakery for crusty bread.

The market is held on the 4th Saturday of every month from 8.00am to 1.00pm at the Abbotsford Covent, St Heliers Street , Abbotsford, Victoria. More details here.

The Slow Food market is plastic bag free so BYO trolley, basket or bags.

Thanks for showing me these amazing markets last Saturday. The veggies are so fresh – and great variety.
