Steamed Fish with Ginger and Soy Sauce

Print Friendly

There is nothing like eating food that is freshly caught by someone you know. My dad recently returned from a fishing trip near the Murray river (I am not allowed to disclose to you the exact location).

According to mama, fatty fish like this Yellowbelly had to be steamed and lightly seasoned so that the freshness could shine through and not be overpowered or disguised. My mother cooked the  fish by steaming it in a light soy garnished with ginger and spring-onion. The fish tasted amazing, it was delicate and sweet. Recipe will be posted after Easter, sorry! Happy chocolate eating!
