Yarraville Farmers Market

Print Friendly

Yesterday was spent meandering through the Yarraville Farmers Market, set in the beautiful and historical Yarraville Gardens. Our favourite stall was Dench Bakers, where we found some lovely some gluten free bread.

We didn’t see any organic fruit and vegetable stall holders, but as you can see below the produce was still fresh and bountiful.

On our way home we stopped by Seddon for a coffee and found Vietnamese beer at the local bottle-shop (Thirsty Camel, 180 Victoria St, Seddon). I was so excited, how cool is that! Dai Viet beer comes in light ale and pale ale.

We also dropped into Vincent Vegetarian Food Mart (353 Barkly St, Footscray) which is next door to the Sweet Grass Bonsai Nursery Cafe, check out the reviews for this cute little cafe from Footscray Food Blog and Consider the Sauce.

At Vincent’s we picked up Vegetarian Mushroom Oyster sauce and Vincent’s own brand of organic Soysauce.

Vincent’s is worth going to for all your food needs if you are vegetarian or curious like me :)

  1. Hi there! Thanks for the link and these tips! I haven’t been to Yarraville Farmers Market for forever, will have to check it out again. Some Dench bread would be lovely :)

I love Dench bread! My local cafe in Brunswick uses it.
